Description:
2026 TLBAA Horn Showcase Bull Alley Winner! One Cool Hombre stamped his name into the record books in 2024 as the firstβever NLFR Champion, proving from the start that he belongs among the elite. He went on to be named Grand Champion or High Point Bull at the 806 Futurity, Good Life Futurity, TLBAA Horn Showcase Futurity, ITLA Championships Futurity, and Millennium Futurityβearning the title of 2024 NLFR #1 High Point Futurity Winner.
At the 2026 Horn Showcase, One Cool Hombre brings the kind of size, structure, and presence that commands attention the moment he steps in the ring. His impressive body length, depth of heart, structural correctness, and natural balance pair with a calm, confident demeanorβmaking him a standout even among the breedβs best. His horns currently angle backward and have not yet rolled forward; once they do, his tipβtoβtip measurement is expected to advance rapidly.
Genetically, he is black with a DNA color code of ED/E+, carrying dominant black along with the wild geneβopening the door to exciting color outcomes. His red calves often darken as they mature, adding even more intrigue to his offspring. Now in his third year, he remains in excellent condition while actively breeding cows, and his feet have never been trimmed. With his depth, rib length, and powerful frame, he is an exceptional choice for adding size and quality to smallerβframed females.
One Cool Hombre is DNA parentage certified through Neogen with SNP testing, is BVDv PI negative, and carries strong Igenity Beef numbersβincluding a 9 for tenderness, a valuable trait for breeders focused on premium beef quality.
As a young sire, he is already proving he can transmit the traits that matter. In 2026, several of his calves have already earned futurity money as well as class wins, with more expected to hit the ring in 2027. He offers the size, structure, and eye appeal needed to produce futurity prospects, halter animals, and standout herd additions.
